Tsuruma Park - visitor guide

鶴舞公園

Tsuruma Park combines a historic bandstand and fountain with cherry trees, formal flower beds and Japanese garden elements. Established as Nagoya's first municipal park, it still serves as a place for public gatherings and everyday recreation. Walk between its civic landmarks and planted areas to see how several ideas of a modern city park share the same grounds.

Why go

The park offers a readable example of early modern civic landscape design that remains part of daily Nagoya life.
