External Transmission Disclosure

Purpose of this disclosure

When certain optional partner technologies are active, a program delivered with the page can cause information from your browser or device to be transmitted directly to an external service provider. This page describes the current affiliate-link automation transmission used by Unmapped Japan. It is provided so visitors in Japan can readily confirm what may be sent, who receives it, and the purposes for which it is used.

Affiliate-link automation

Recipient: Go Travel Un Limited, including processors operating the affiliate-automation service on its behalf.

Information that may be transmitted: IP address and connection metadata; browser, device, operating-system and language information; the page URL and referring URL; cookies or other online/device identifiers used by the service; and interaction information such as link impressions, clicks, searches, or conversion/booking-attribution events when applicable.

Purposes for Unmapped Japan: converting eligible outbound travel links into attributed partner links; measuring whether qualifying interactions, purchases, or bookings should be credited to Unmapped Japan; maintaining the reliability of the integration; and detecting misuse or attribution errors.

Purposes for the recipient: operating the affiliate attribution and monetization service; recognizing devices or sessions where its technology uses identifiers; recording and attributing eligible clicks, searches, bookings, or other qualifying actions; service measurement; security; fraud prevention; troubleshooting; and related service operations described by the recipient's privacy and cookie policies.

Your controls

Japan follows the site's default-on path for this optional partner technology. Active Members can turn the optional partner category off in Cookie Settings. When optional partner content is disabled across the site, this technology does not load. Supported browser privacy signals may also prevent activation where applicable. These controls affect the script on Unmapped Japan; once you choose to visit an independent third-party site, that site's own privacy and cookie practices apply.
