Mitsuike Park - visitor guide

県立三ツ池公園

Mitsuike Park is shaped around three former irrigation ponds in Yokohama's Tsurumi district. Wooded slopes, waterside paths and a varied collection of cherry trees give the grounds a changing spring display. Play areas and the Korean garden add other reasons to explore beyond the blossom season.

Why go

The ponds provide a useful framework for a relaxed circuit, with different views opening as you move around their edges. Cherry varieties flower at different times, so current bloom reports are more useful than assuming one fixed peak date. The park's sports facilities and other amenities have separate usage rules; choose those deliberately if you want more than a walk.

Planning Notes

Suggested time on site: 1.5–2.5 hours. Keep travel and waiting time separate from that estimate.

Timing noted for this stop: Morning during cherry-blossom season.

Access reference: Tsurumi Station; continue by bus to Mitsuike-koen. Check the final walking or connecting leg when choosing your route.
