Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter - visitor guide

ワーナー ブラザース スタジオツアー東京

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo explores the craft behind Harry Potter through sets, props, costumes and screen effects. Large environments let visitors examine details that pass quickly in a film, while production displays explain how those worlds were made. Set aside time for looking closely as well as photographs, and check admission arrangements when planning the Toshimaen visit.

Why go

Choose it for production design and detailed film environments, especially if you enjoy seeing how fictional worlds are constructed.

Field Notes

The route begins with a guided group introduction and then becomes self-guided. Use that transition to slow down around the production details that interest you, whether costumes, physical sets or effects, rather than feeling that the whole visit must follow a guide’s pace. Build time for both looking closely and the interactive parts of the experience.

The operator’s notice following the incident on 29 September 2026 says the Studio Tour is operating normally, but that Digital Guide purchase and use are temporarily suspended. A separate maintenance notice says the Knight Bus is unavailable for viewing, with a return expected in early November. Check for updated notices before booking around either feature. These are specific service and display limitations, not a statement that the complete attraction is closed.

Planning Notes

Suggested time on site: Allow 3–4 hours for the studio tour; longer for meals and shopping. No fixed stay limit. Keep travel and waiting time separate from that estimate.

Timing noted for this stop: Use your reserved slot; lobby access starts 1 hour earlier, or 30 minutes before the first tour. Closed November 11–12, 2026.

Access reference: Toshimaen Station; about 2 minutes on foot. Check the final walking or connecting leg when choosing your route.

Arrange the required reservation before relying on this stop in a fixed itinerary.

Calendar checked October 3, 2026: for October 3–10, the facility opens at 08:30 and the first tour starts at 09:00. On October 3, 4 and 10, the final tour starts at 17:00 and the facility closes at 21:00; on October 5–9, the final tour starts at 15:00 and the facility closes at 19:00. These facility hours do not replace your reserved tour-entry time. Later dates remain unverified; check the official calendar.

The operator’s September 30 notice says the tour is operating normally, but the Digital Guide service is temporarily unavailable. A September 10 notice also lists the Knight Bus as unavailable for maintenance, with return expected in early November. Check current service notices before visiting.

The operator lists November 11–12, 2026 as closed. Allow 3–4 hours for the tour itself. Lobby entry opens one hour before the booked tour, except the first tour of the day when it opens 30 minutes beforehand; this is not permission to join a different tour slot.
