Sanrio Puroland - visitor guide

サンリオピューロランド

Sanrio Puroland turns Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters into indoor rides, theatrical spaces and live entertainment in Tama City. The scenery and performances shape the visit as much as the attractions themselves. Choose priorities from the current program before traveling to Tama-Center, particularly if a specific show or character experience is central to your day.

Why go

A dedicated destination for Sanrio fans who want character design carried through scenery, performances and attractions.

Field Notes

Before planning the shows, make sure the admission arrangements are complete. Puroland requires both a passport ticket and a visit reservation. Some official electronic passport purchases include the reservation, while holders of other ticket types need to follow the relevant reservation steps. A reservation by itself is not an admission ticket, and owning a ticket does not remove the need to check that the visit is reserved.

Choose the date before comparing prices because passport rates vary by day. Then use that day’s schedule to decide which performances, rides or greetings matter most to your group. Keep any extra experience or priority product separate in your planning from the basic passport. This preparation is particularly useful when travelling out to Tama-Center for one specific character experience; admission arrangements and the availability of that experience are different things to confirm.

Planning Notes

Suggested time on site: 3–5 hours. Keep travel and waiting time separate from that estimate.

Arrange the required reservation before relying on this stop in a fixed itinerary.

Schedule checked October 3, 2026: ordinary public opening and closure dates are published in the October–December monthly calendars. This review supplies 64 ordinary open dates and 10 explicit closed dates within October 3–December 27. Twelve dates are deliberately left without numeric hours: October 3, 4, 11, 18, 24, 25 and 31; November 1, 3, 7, 21 and 22. These are scope holds, not closure claims. The doll handover begins at 17:30 on October 3, 4 and 11 without a published end. Birthday-theater attendance can continue after ordinary closing; doors, show times and expected send-off are not whole-park hours. The separately ticketed Halloween session opens October 31 at 21:30 and closes November 1 at 05:00, with gaps around ordinary public operation. November 21–22 have a separate private dog-night event planned for 19:00–22:00 after ordinary closing. Check each event’s admission requirements and area restrictions. The FAQ permits entry during public opening hours with the required passport and visit reservation; ticket-window sales ending 90 minutes before closing are not a final-entry cutoff.
