Yanagawa River Boating - Hakushu Kanko - visitor guide

柳川川下り 伯舟観光

Hakushu Kanko's flat-bottomed boats trace a canal loop through Yanagawa's old waterside town. The standard circuit boards behind Kamenoi Hotel Yanagawa and returns there.

Recommended Transport Public

Why we recommend it

Yanagawa's waterways are best understood from boat level, where bridges, stone edges and houses pass at a gentle pace. Hakushu Kanko's standard sightseeing course is a loop of roughly 40 to 60 minutes from the dock behind Kamenoi Hotel Yanagawa, rather than a transfer to a different landing. Course length and operation can vary with weather and water conditions. Check the operator's current boarding instructions and schedule, especially if you are coordinating a train or bus connection.

Planning notes

Suggested time on site: 40 minutes–1 hour. Keep travel and waiting time separate from that estimate.

Timing noted for this stop: Arrive at Kamenoi Hotel Yanagawa’s lobby at least 5 minutes early. Night cruising is a separate private-boat plan.

Access reference: From Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station continue by local bus or taxi to the Kamenoi Hotel / Ohana area. Check the final walking or connecting leg when choosing your route.

The standard 40-minute course returns to the same dock behind Kamenoi Hotel Yanagawa. Arrive at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes before the reservation. The illuminated night cruise is a separate private-boat plan; reception/contact hours do not prove continuous public departures.
